(10:01) - Not feeling too hot, they open with w vignette similar to last year where he comes on stage - he eidnt materialize- he just walked this time :p
(10:08) - New pikmin game - reminds me of Antz for the mac, but made for the DS.. except it's for the WiiU..
(10:12) - Nintendo's goal is to debut 23 games within this hour long period.. woo for no 10 minute bothced gameplay demos like yesterday.
(10:12) - WiiU to have Youtube, Amazon Video, Hulu and Netflix.. so it's to have most of the current gen features. 6 years late brotha :p
(10:14) - Nintendo just posted every social media method of contact, including 3 facebook pages and twitter.. what - no google plus?
(10:17) - WiiU gamepad to feature touchscreen and stylus, ontop of its existing sixaxis (oops.. accelerometer) camera, mic, stereo individual gamepad speakers
(10:20) - you know how ps3 and xbox have avatars? you can apparently draw a 'home board' which is a sticky note so nearby people can see what you feel or what youre doing, or what you're playing - this looks vandal worthy.
(10:21) Super Mario Mii is about to get debuted.. oop it's Super Mario Bros U now
(10:24) - SMU to have 5 player "boost mode" where a 5th player can change the environment.. new Batman game announced.. they got the cutie who does Harley Quinn's voice in the Arkham batman games.. oh - Arkham City port.
(10:28) - New Scribblenauts Unlimited game. Sonic for Hire instantly comes to mind.. happiness=a whole lot of crack and porn. Also coming to the 3DS.
(10:32) - montage time.. Darksiders, Mass Effect 3, Tanks Online? Tekken, Trine, Ninja Gaiden 3, Colonial Marines.. thats 11 titles so far. Waiting for that Aliens game that got delayed.
(10:34) - Wii Fit U promises to utilize the new peripheral.. sweaty gamepads ew. Wii Fit U sounds like a custom suit tailor shop.
(10:37) - Sing, a Wii U version of Singstar - gamepad to be your karaoke machine so that the tv is dedicated to stage performance.
UPDATE - Dunno about you, I never played singstar or Michael Jackson the Experience holding a mic and going "man oh man i wish i was holding a tablet too"
(10:40) 20 minutes left to cover 9 titles. Tomorrow evening nintendo is dedicating a full hour to discuss 3DS titles - but they announced Super Mario Bros 2 for 3DS - and it's all about gold coins. shiny.
(10:43) - New Paper Mario game to be about sticker-power ups for the 3DS. New Luigi game as well - OH GOD ITS LUIGIS MANSION NO!
(10:46) - Another montage - Castlevania Lords of Shadow, Mickey Mouse Game, scribblenauts which was already covered, Kingdom Hearts 3D all coming to the 3DS.
(10:48) - Open world Lego City game.. I am not the only one that thinks all lego people have southern accents. Good humor in the dialogue - like it's spoofing a lot of movie styles. Matrix references, detective mystery references, giant sharks.. what else could you ask for?
(10:50) - Ubisoft about to make their announcements.
(10:52) - Just Dance 4 for the Wii U.. good luck holding your tablet for that one. Oh god they've got moves like jagger.. one of the lamest songs I've heard homeless old dunk native men sing outside a greyhound station.
(10:54) - ZombiU..bisoft.. nice use of gameplay.. since it was spelled differently do we call this an italian horror movie spinoff franchise game?
(10:56) - good for a chuckle, Zombie camera mode with the tablet.. Oops another montage - Assassins Creed 3, Rabbids Land, YourShape, Rayman Legends, Sports Connection, Avengers Battle for Earth
(10:58) - I think this is the last one - Nintendo Land theme park game? Didn't this happen and fail? Captain Lou had a shock collar and had to entertain kids at Universal Studios for wine money? Excuuuuse me princess? Am I remembering history wrong?
(11:02) - One thing that hasnt been answered is that the WiiU will use existing wii peripherals like the wiimotes.. but not whether it goes back to gamecube era stuff.. stop showing us Luigi's Mansion stuff!
(11:05) - unrelated but THQ is doing an investor call right now and is assuring investors that they are not dead in the water - despite losing the UFC franchise to Electronic Arts yesterday. You aren't missing much at the Nintendo conference - they're boring us with more Luigis Mansion stuff.
(11:08) - Another Nintendoland demo - with a dozen minigames to help people acclimate to the gamepad controller.
(11:11) - And the conference wraps up - one more freaking Nintendoland video.. the thing that concerns me is that they still have not set a pricepoint for a console due to go on sale within 6 months. That tells me that it's going to be expensive and they're afraid to put people off. If Nintendo is smart this is going to be the year they lose money - take their obviously $600 setup and sell it for $299 and pump games out to make up for the losses. Worked for Sony.

And with that I'm going to take a break. Later today I am going to watch and post the Ubisoft info as I haven't watched them yet. I found these conferences all to be underwhelming but it would be hard not to give the top honor to Nintendo - debuting 2 dozen titles as well as a new console. Winner by default I guess.
