On February 10, 2003 Mr Perfect Curt Hennig passed away, continuing the chain of depressing deaths of incredibly talented, incredibly gifted, and incredibly gifted professional wrestlers. Hennig was an underrated legend - relegated to midcard status in the WWF and WCW, mostly due to his size. He, along with people like Scott Hall, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Owen and Bret Hart, etc. weren't mammoths, or titans, or even relatively tall - but they gave everything they could to enteratin us as children as adults.
On behalf of the Where Wrestling Went Wrong crew and freakandnitro.com, we'd like to pay our respects to Mr Perfect, as appreciation for everything he gave for us, including his health and his life.
To your son Joe, we will always remember your father fondly - and we know that you are making him proud - even if you have to be called McGillicutty for a while.
